ITINERARY

DAY 01 : Meals on Board
KUALA LUMPUR > COLOMBO > NEGOMBO
Assemble at Kuala Lumpur International Airport for flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka by Malaysia Airlines. Arrive in Sri Lanka you will be welcomed by a representative of ground handed over to your respective guide, Proceed to Negombo for half day tour. Visit *Jamiul Alfar Masjid – The uniqueness of JAMIUL ALFAR MASJID – Jamiul Alfar MASJID is one kind of architectural monument in the country, it has enriched in itself the Islamic Culture along with its majestic colonial English looking structural detailing with its vibrant color of red with its close proximity to the Colombo Ports forms a scenic yet a very spiritual environment. Also showing it’s solidarity with standing the test of time, these features attract many businessman and tourists as well to this MASJID. Visit Malay Street in Slave Island, a place for ancient historical mosques in a beautified Colombo. Overnight stay at Colombo.

DAY 02 : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
NEGOMBO > KANDY
After breakfast proceed to Kandy. En-route visit *Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage App. 55 miles from Colombo, off Colombo- Kandy road is Pinnawala, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded Elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 40 now, including baby Elephants brought from various parts, as well as the babies born, as a result of the captive breeding programme. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930 hrs – 1000 hrs & 1330 – 1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000 – 1030 hrs & 1400 – 1430 hrs when all the Elephants are taken to the river close by. Visit to a Spice Garden to see the different spices, which Sri Lanka is famous for.  You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. Lunch at Restaurant. Make city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive, Arts & Crafts Centre, Gem Museum, market square & Meera Makkam Mosque – situated on the Asgiriya Temple land donated to the Muslim community during the period of ancient kings of Kandy, which denotes the close communal relations between the religions. Kandy the hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. By the night experience a colourful show where you will be taken to mind blowing Sri Lankan culture extravaganza… Get ready for Heavy drumbeat and acrobatic act. Dinner at overnight stay at Kandy.

DAY 03 : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
KANDY > NUWARA ELIYA
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. En route lunch at restaurant. Enjoy “Tea experience”, which involves a visit a plantation to observe firsthand the process, starting from the plucking field where it all begins with the picking of “two leaves and a bud” to the factory where the processing begins. Originally introduced to the island around 1850 by the British, Ceylon Tea is world famous for its high quality and has remained a major contributor to the island’s economy for generations. Currently, Sri Lanka is one of largest exporter of tea worldwide. The high altitudes produce the best flavors, so Sri Lanka’s hill-country is the ideal environment to grow the most flavorsome tea. A guided tour around a Tea Factory is an enlightening experience. Check in at hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 04 : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
NUWARA ELIYA CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Make a sightseeing tour in Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya the ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coolest places in the Island, but it is really just like an English spring day, although the temperature does drop at night. Lunch at restaurant. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence, houses like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions. The Victoria Park, in the middle of the town, is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic and is also good for Birding as you get some rare birds in this Park. Seasons may be absent elsewhere in Sri Lanka, but here you can read them by the flowers. Dinner & overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 05 : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
NUWARA ELIYA > COLOMBO
After breakfast proceed to Colombo via Kithulgala. Travel through a beautiful landscape. Enjoy the rich nature. Lunch at Restaurant. Colombo a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens, Visit Fort, the former British administrative centre and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmiths quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha, the Independence Square & Galle face green, etc. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel in Colombo.

DAY 06 : Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
COLOMBO CITY TOUR
After breakfast explore the city of Colombo. Lunch at Restaurant. Start shopping in Colombo, Visit ODEL, House of Fashion, Arcade Independence square, Race Course, and Beverly Street, BareFoot, Noritake Outlet visit bargain market in Colombo Pettah. Seafood Dinner by the Beach Mount Lavinia. Overnight stay at Colombo.

DAY 07 : Breakfast
COLOMBO > KUALA LUMPUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from hotel & Lunch at Restaurant.. Dinner at Restaurant. In the evening transferred to the Airport for the flight back.
